Citizens Advice holds sessions in New Ash Green every Thursday in the Youth & Community
Centre from 9.30 am – 12.00 midday.
For telephone advice, please ring 0300 330 9001, Mondays to Fridays, between 10.00 am and
3.00 pm – you will hear a 90 second welcome message, after which you will either be
connected to speak to a telephone assessor if available, or placed in a queue, or given an
option to leave a message. Calls are charged at a local rate.

New Ash Green Children’s Centre – information, advice and services for families with children aged 0 – 11.
New Ash Green Social Committee – a voluntary group who organise the annual Village Day and Fireworks Display as well as a children’s Craft Day in December. More volunteers are always welcome!
New Ash Green Woodlands Group – a group of volunteers who work with the VA to maintain and improve the orchard and woods in New Ash Green. Regular walks and work parties are organised and they are open to everyone. More information.

Community Transport Services for older people or people with mobility needs:
Rural Age Concern Darent Valley – a door-to-door service to use in getting to and from Day Centres, Clubs and for Shopping Trips, etc. This transport is provided at a low, subsidised cost for registered clients.
Kent Karrier Dial-a-Ride – operates throughout North West Kent. There is a £5 a year membership fee to use the service.
Buses4U – a ‘demand responsive’ accessible bus service within Sevenoaks District for those who do not have access to other public transport. Membership (£15 per year) is required.
